RFAM

RFAMs are a formal process employed to submit documents, materials, and equipment for approval from architects, engineers, clients, or other stakeholders involved in a project. RFAMs ensure that the documents and equipments utilized in the project adhere to the project's specifications and requirements.

The RFAM tool can be accessed under the Share option under the projects from the navigation pane.

 


The RFAMs tool in Krion 6D allows you to see a list of all RFAMs along with details like the:

·         RFAM code

·         Title

·         Type

·         Recipients

·         Due Date

·         No of Documents

·         Status

Note: The RFAMs list can be filtered by the status and by user/user groups. The items to be displayed in the list can also be customized by selecting the columns drop-down menu.

Create RFAMs

1.       Click on to create a RFAM

 


2.       In the Create RFAM dialog, enter the RFAM Code in the format

0001-XXXX-XX01-RFAM-0001-A-P01.01 as specified, which breaks down into these components:

o   0001: A unique identifier for the RFAM being created

o   XXXX: The code representing the organization.

o   XX01: Alpha Numeric Code for the current phase of the project.

o   RFAM: Indicates that this is a RFAM Code

o   0001: The code for the department.

o   A: The department revision identifier Viz., A - Architectural, C-Civil, S-Structural, M-Mechanical, P-Plumbing, E-Environmental etc.,

o   P01: Revision Number

o   01: A suffix indicating that the issue is currently a work in progress

This format ensures that each issue can be tracked and referenced efficiently throughout its workflow process.

3.       Enter a Title name for the RFAM

4.       Select the Spec Section and Sub Spec section from the drop-down menu

5.       Enter the description of the RFAM



 


6.       Select the type

7.       Select and assign a workflow for the RFAM.

8.       Enter the Due date, Priority, Required Date, Required Approval Date, Required on job site date and lead time (in days)

9.       Attach Packages or related documents enable to upload files from Krion6D Drive.

After filling all the mandatory fields marked in red, click on   to successfully create a RFAM

Note:

1.       When a RFAM is created all members in the workflow will get notified about the same.

2.       A RFAM can be created as a review by toggling

button if required

Actions on RFAMs

Once a RFAM is created it can be viewed in the RFAM list. Various actions can be performed on a RFAM by clicking on    under the Actions column.

 


·         Edit: Clicking on edit actions lets you edit a RFAM

·         Detail: To view the details in a RFAM

·         Add Task:  Add Tasks enables you to Add Review tool where a related task can be created

·         Add Issue: Add Issue enables you to Add an Issue too where an Issue can be created

·         Delete: Delete a RFAM
